A 6-days trekking to explore one of the most panoramic places in the Dolomites, we’ll hike on some of the most famous peaks. Starting from the “Queen of the Dolomites” we’ll move to the panoramic Belvedere area, we’ll climb the Sella and Pordoi mountain where a 360° view will leave us breathless. 

1st DAY: You’ll meet the Mountain Guide in Canazei for a short briefing on the program and an equipment check. We’ll take the bus to Passo Fedaia (2.050m) , from here we’ll start walking to Pian dei Fiacconi where we’ll overnight at the homonym refuge at the feet of the Marmolada glacier. Elevation gain: about 600m. Walking time: about 2/3 h

2nd DAY: We’ll walk towards Padon ridge to cross the panoramic Vial del Pan trail, after a beautiful walk we’ll reach the Belvedere area where the amazing view over Pordoi, Sella, Sassolungo and Marmolada mountain will leave us breathless. Expected overnight at Passo Pordoi. Elevation gain: about 500m. Elevation loss: about 800m. Walking time: 4 h

3rd DAY: Starting from Passo Pordoi (2,239 m) we’ll climb the “Forcella” to reach the Refuge Forcella Pordoi (2,846 m) for a deserved lunch-break. Last part of the climb to reach the panoramic summit of Piz Boè (3,152 m) before descent to Rifugio Boè (2,871 m) at Col Toron, here we’ll overnight after a nice dinner and a chat with the Alpine Guides who will tell us about locals stories and legends. Elevation gain: about 900m. Elevation loss: about 300m. Walking time: 5 h

DAY 4: Through the lunar environment of Sella plateau, we’ll walk to Forcella Antersass and descent into the wild Val Lasties to reach Pian de Schiavaneis (1,850 m) and its beautiful woods. After lunch we’ll walk towards Passo Sella (2,240 m) where we’ll stop for dinner and overnight at the Refuge at the feet of Sassolungo mountain. Elevation gain: about 300m. Elevation loss: about 1000m. Walking time: 5/6 h

DAY 5: Starting from Passo Sella short climb up to Col Rodella where the beautiful Friedrich August path starts. This track passes underneath the majestic walls of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains up to the homonymous dairy (1,820 m). Here the owner will be our Cicero to discover the main activities of the hut where you could enjoy some delicious “slow food” products. We will continue our walk in the afternoon to reach the Val Duron where we’ll overnight. Elevation gain: about 150m. Elevation loss: about 500m. Walking time: about 4 h

DAY 6: this is the last day before returning to the Valley, we’ll walk through a picturesque forest path with magnificent views over the Sassolungo and we’ll be back for lunch-time in the village of Campitello di Fassa. Elevation loss: about 400m. Walking time: about 2 h.
