Via Ferrata

The very first via ferratas in the Dolomites were born even before the First Wolrd War. They were paths equipped with metallic ropes, iron stairs and suspended bridges, and do represent a kind of first alpinist approach to the mountain. A mix between a difficult path and an easy climbing route, enabling people to reach spectacular peaks otherwise reachable only by climbers. Dolomites are worldwide renowned thanks to this special kind of mountain ascents and have become the favourite destination for those who want to move their first steps on the easiest itineraries or to face the new modern via ferratas!
